Happy Monday, y’all!
I want to say thank you to the lovely and talented Ms. Gynger Fyer for allowing me to partake in this blog tour.
Below are my four answers to the questions posed about my writing process.
1) What am I working on?
Currently I’m finishing up some contemporaries as well as some paranormals. Next month starts my time of writing historicals. Some of what I’m working on are in series that you know and some are in upcoming series. The next in the Interludes series. One for the Astral Guardians series and a paranormal that as of this moment, doesn’t have a home but I will tell you, it’s a shifter story. *grin* Yep, that’s all I’m sharing.
2) How does my work differ from others of its genre?
I think what makes my work, and every authors work, different is our voice. How we tell our stories.
3) Why do I write what I do?
Because I write what the characters tell me what to write. I’m not a plotter. I don’t sit down and say, okay, I need to do this this and this. The characters come to me and say, this is who I am, write my story. We will guide you.
4) How does your writing process work?
As I mentioned above, it’s the characters who deem how the story will go. When people talk to me about turning points, and plot points, etc, my eyes tend to glaze over. I tell stories, the characters know them way better than I do and I trust myself to listen to them. Yes, at times it gives me characters that have me scratching my head but…really, isn’t that what human life is about? Nothing is a given, not a person’s reaction to a situation or how we feel they should be responding. Every one of us, whether we’ve done it X way twenty thousand times, that twenty thousand and one, may be when it’s done Y way. I love the journey, the unknown, and I hope, with each story that I create and pen, I am able to take my readers on the same journey’s of ups/downs/and of course, many, many twists and turns.
Now, for next week, I’ve chosen these three authors so make sure you go to their sites and check out not only their writing processes but also the authors they tag. Who knows, you may find a new author to read!

Bio:
I’m just Yvette Hines. An erotica author that loves pleasurable hours between the sheets. Whether it is a blended tale of interracial lovers, the clandestine bite and wicked passion of a paranormal lover or the sting of a commanding whip against tender flesh. Even better, make my day and toss in two gorgeously, decadent men who only want to pleasure their woman. Oooh, yeah, now we’re talking. I write erotica because I love it. I’m a Scorpio, so I’m sensual by nature and that just makes me naughty. {giggle}
I’ve been penning erotic tales since 2007, on the hedonistic side of the romance genre. But, I’m eclectic by nature, so I bet I can tell you things that would surprise you. You ready?
I’m married to my best friend. A guy that makes me laugh ’til I can’t breathe. A man who steals my breath every time he walks into a room. A partner that isn’t afraid to bend me over his knees whether I’m good or bad. Oops, that might be one of those TMI moments. {side lip bite} I believe in happily ever after like the rising of the sun depended on it. To me, sex and romance together is essential as gravity to humans remaining firmly planted on earth, they are a connected must. Still haven’t shocked you yet, well then, what would you say if I told you I’m a Christian. Hmm, that made you pause didn’t it. I’m also a part of Christian Erotica Romance Writers. I know, most of you are thinking that is an oxymoron. No problem, it is just who I am.
I enjoy long walks on the beach… well, I do, but really I love meeting readers, going to conference, writing with my fellow authors in a coffee shop, attending BDSM events and Christmas.
Oh, now we are getting to the good stuff. What do I write: Short and Sexy, Sensual Erotica. Yup, that’s me, SASSE Yvette Hines. So, do I only write short stories, primarily. Heck, we live in a society where a lot of people have to have 2-3 jobs, so it doesn’t leave a lot of time to finish a bunch of full length manuscripts. So, I try to give quality short stories. {If you don’t get that from one of my books, send me an email. Please don’t post it to my Facebook page, my group loop, ARe Cafe or blast me on Amazon or ARe store. Just drop me a respectable line and I’ll thank you for your honesty and grow stronger.} Contemporary interracial erotic romance stories are my main releases. I also write paranormal, menage and fantasy. What is my favorite thing to write? I’m glad you asked, Holiday stories with BDSM themes.
Well, I think I have said enough at the moment. Feel free to drop me a line or ask me questions anytime.
Keepin’ It SASSE! {KIS!}
