Monday Book Memories ~ Breaking All the Rules

Monday, December 31st, 2018

This one came about because I love doing stories about family. Here we have four brothers who have each gone into different branches of the service and after they are out, join together to form a protection company.

One night of passion can lead to anything. For a woman and her boss, can it—will it—lead to happily ever after?

A member of D.A.R.K. Cover, Inc., Kristopher “Wild” Wilder is taking a few days of R&R in Belize after his last mission. There he meets a woman who sets his blood on fire and the night they share is explosive to say the least. Little does he know, she’s the woman his brothers hired to be their company’s newest pilot. After the passion in Belize, he looks forward to continuing the connection. Problem: she isn’t on board with that idea.

Alyse Lamar is a damn good pilot. She’s taken this new job for a few reasons but when she realizes she’s slept with one of her new bosses, she isn’t sure it’s the best place for her to remain. She can’t seem to keep her hands off him, nor him her. Her strict rule about never mixing business with pleasure is taking one heck of a beating.

Wild is many things, a quitter isn’t one of them. He wants this feisty woman and knows she wants him just as much. He vows to find a way past her walls and make her understand that what began as one night in Belize is worth breaking all the rules and canlead to forever.

Monday Book Memories ~ Temporary Home

Monday, December 24th, 2018

There were a lot of moving parts that went into this one. I wanted to do stories based on emotions I get from some songs I hear. I had a Sam in my life at this time who is, and will always be, a hero to me. As is his father.

I love this story.

Sometimes past demons need to be faced before one can embrace what the future offers, and who better to slay them than a Marine?

Gunnery Sergeant Sam Hoch travels to the Pac Norwest upon receiving word his mentor and the closest thing to a father he’s had, has taken a turn for the worse and is in the hospital. Once there he meets a woman who is unlike any he’s ever met before. A former Marine herself, she opens up her home to him so he can be near his family.

Roxi Mammon isn’t positive it’s smart to allow Sam to stay with her, not with her immediate physical reaction to him. She’s heard tales of him from her best friend, his sister, and now having met him she is even more impressed by the man the Corps has turned him into—a silent, strong type. Passion grows between them and soon she finds herself falling for the Recon Marine. And falling hard.

As things escalate between them, Sam has to accept his past doesn’t control him if he plans on keeping Roxi in his future. Can he understand that this is the one woman who can give him something more? Will he silence the fear within him and tell Roxi she’s the one for him? Will he realise that he deserves more than just a temporary home?

Monday Book Memories ~ Belongs to You

Final story in the Kendrick Brothers series. Not the last time you will see them for they will pop up in some of the older Kindleworld stories I have gotten back when they closed.

I had a blast writing these brothers and hope you enjoyed reading them.

Taking that first step is always the hardest…

Nate Kendrick has had a thing for his new housekeeper ever since he met her. Aboveboard on it all, he never pursues it until the night they are without his brothers’ as chaperones. No longer can he ignore his desire for her. Leandra Brice is working on her dream and being employed by the Rocking K Ranch is only a step along the way. So what if the eldest is the star of her every fantasy? Giving in may not be smart but it sure does feel good.Their affair is hot and whirlwind until the season catches up and chills it to frost. When Leandra leaves Nate is going to need more than luck to get her to believe his heart belongs to her.

Monday Book Memories ~ Need You Now

Monday, December 10th, 2018

I envisioned a series of sisters who weren’t of blood but closer than many who are. They were all going to have their adventures being along a beach when they took a week to separate Mexican resorts. Well, as usual my plans didn’t work out how I had anticipated them.

However, this one, the first, did…sort of.

Here’s the eldest of the three girls.

What happens when that first spark is undeniable?

Pediatric oncologist Eva Monroe was finally heading for vacation in Puerto Vallarta to enjoy some much-needed rest, relaxation and sex. It was her goal to find someone to indulge in for the night—or the week, her choice.

Emergency room surgeon and member of Doctors Without Borders Grant Harrison is having fun during his time at the beach when he spies Eva and the heat between them slams into him with incredible force. After he approaches her, they end up going back to his room. What begins as a hot, intense encounter grows to more as they spend the rest of her time there together. Learning about each other and becoming close.

When they leave, neither want to end what they have started to build, but they’re not exactly neighbors. They decide to try a long-distance relationship—she visits him in Arizona and he her in Iowa, but they want more. Who is going to be the one to give up what they have for the other?

Someone has to make a choice. But when it comes, will it be too late?

This is the story of Dane Sidorov’s eldest daughter. Although she’s not of his blood, he would do anything to protect her. However, this time, she has to find the strength from deep within.

Only she doesn’t see herself that way so it’s up to him to convince her, even if that includes allowing her to go on this crazy rescue.

Lera Sidorov is empty. Despite her loving and protective family she is, not whole. Lacking. Incomplete. On her search for her friend, she not only discovers how she and Kori are intertwined but something else…part of something presumed lost to this world long ago, something which will complete her and allow her to be the woman she was created to be.

Monday Book Memories ~ Seducing Damian

Monday, November 12th, 2018

I love mythology and while I’m a fan of Greek and Norse, there is so much other out there. This time, it was Egyptian that took me.

Can a mortal man, without magic or coercion, bring a goddess to her knees just with the power of his love?

Damian Keith teaches Ancient Egyptian history but his love lies in the magic of mythology. An amateur collector of artefacts, he spends much of his time reading ancient books. Lately his dreams have been invaded by a woman whose touch leaves him breathless and wanting more. Much more. But she never reveals her face to him.

Amenitre Seini is really the Egyptian goddess Sekhmet. Mortal, Damian Keith has enthralled her like no one before. She visits him in his dreams until she can no longer resist the urge to touch him while he’s awake and heads to Earth.

Do they stand a chance at a future together or will Damian push her away once he learns of her deception and who and what she truly is? Can she convince him her love is real and that only in the beginning was it about…

Monday’s Book Memories ~ Casanova in Training

Monday, November 5th, 2018

I love this story, had such a blast researching it.

This series, well story, came about when I was having lunch with an author friend. We were people watching as we ate and saw this little boy, complete heartbreaker. I looked at her and said something along the lines of: “That boy right there is a Casanova in Training.”

My friend, grinned and said, “Great book title for you.”

And so it began.

In Aeternum—Latin for forever.

The road to love usually takes you on all kinds of twists and turns. Blood may be thicker than water and family can’t always be chosen. However, what these men all have in common, other than family and friendship, is that when they find their woman, they plan on keeping her—no matter what the obstacles.

In Aeternum.

*****

A woman who is all about rules and a man who lives to break them, their scorching passion threatens all they hold dear. Can they find a way to have it all?

His best friend’s death brings a new pilot to his squadron—a woman. That’s not even the real reason it’s hard—she’s the one who left an indelible imprint on his soul after a twenty-four hour rendezvous. Now she seems to have ice in her veins, not the fiery passion he knows rages beneath the surface.

Jaydee ‘Dusti’ Amos is following orders, and this time they have landed her at a test facility. She’s there to ascertain what caused the deadly B-2 crash. The situation becomes harder once she discovers who is stationed there—the one man she never believed she’d see again after their impulsive and passionate encounter. He pulls her focus from the job at hand and tends to make her break the stringent rules she lives her life by.
