Monday Book Memories ~ Need You Now

Monday, December 10th, 2018

I envisioned a series of sisters who weren’t of blood but closer than many who are. They were all going to have their adventures being along a beach when they took a week to separate Mexican resorts. Well, as usual my plans didn’t work out how I had anticipated them.

However, this one, the first, did…sort of.

Here’s the eldest of the three girls.

What happens when that first spark is undeniable?

Pediatric oncologist Eva Monroe was finally heading for vacation in Puerto Vallarta to enjoy some much-needed rest, relaxation and sex. It was her goal to find someone to indulge in for the night—or the week, her choice.

Emergency room surgeon and member of Doctors Without Borders Grant Harrison is having fun during his time at the beach when he spies Eva and the heat between them slams into him with incredible force. After he approaches her, they end up going back to his room. What begins as a hot, intense encounter grows to more as they spend the rest of her time there together. Learning about each other and becoming close.

When they leave, neither want to end what they have started to build, but they’re not exactly neighbors. They decide to try a long-distance relationship—she visits him in Arizona and he her in Iowa, but they want more. Who is going to be the one to give up what they have for the other?

Someone has to make a choice. But when it comes, will it be too late?

Lera Sidorov is empty. Despite her loving and protective family she is, not whole. Lacking. Incomplete. Monday Book Memories ~ Seducing Damian

Monday, November 12th, 2018

I love mythology and while I’m a fan of Greek and Norse, there is so much other out there. This time, it was Egyptian that took me.

Can a mortal man, without magic or coercion, bring a goddess to her knees just with the power of his love?

Damian Keith teaches Ancient Egyptian history but his love lies in the magic of mythology. An amateur collector of artefacts, he spends much of his time reading ancient books. Lately his dreams have been invaded by a woman whose touch leaves him breathless and wanting more. Much more. But she never reveals her face to him.

Amenitre Seini is really the Egyptian goddess Sekhmet. Mortal, Damian Keith has enthralled her like no one before. She visits him in his dreams until she can no longer resist the urge to touch him while he’s awake and heads to Earth.

Do they stand a chance at a future together or will Damian push her away once he learns of her deception and who and what she truly is? Can she convince him her love is real and that only in the beginning was it about…

Monday’s Book Memories ~ Casanova in Training

Monday, November 5th, 2018

I love this story, had such a blast researching it.

This series, well story, came about when I was having lunch with an author friend. We were people watching as we ate and saw this little boy, complete heartbreaker. I looked at her and said something along the lines of: “That boy right there is a Casanova in Training.”

My friend, grinned and said, “Great book title for you.”

And so it began.

In Aeternum—Latin for forever.

The road to love usually takes you on all kinds of twists and turns. Blood may be thicker than water and family can’t always be chosen. However, what these men all have in common, other than family and friendship, is that when they find their woman, they plan on keeping her—no matter what the obstacles.

In Aeternum.

*****

A woman who is all about rules and a man who lives to break them, their scorching passion threatens all they hold dear. Can they find a way to have it all?

Lieutenant Commander Giovanni ‘Casanova’ Cassano is a top test pilot for the military, and is the epitome of an ace. Cocky, arrogant, handsome, and true to his call sign. His best friend’s death brings a new pilot to his squadron—a woman. That’s not even the real reason it’s hard—she’s the one who left an indelible imprint on his soul after a twenty-four hour rendezvous. Now she seems to have ice in her veins, not the fiery passion he knows rages beneath the surface.

Jaydee ‘Dusti’ Amos is following orders, and this time they have landed her at a test facility. She’s there to ascertain what caused the deadly B-2 crash. The situation becomes harder once she discovers who is stationed there—the one man she never believed she’d see again after their impulsive and passionate encounter. He pulls her focus from the job at hand and tends to make her break the stringent rules she lives her life by.

They work together to unveil the truth and the feelings between them deepen. But there is a traitor in their midst. Will the fallout tear them apart, or will Gio find some way to convince Jaydee to give him a chance at forever?

Monday Book Memories ~ What the Earl Desires

I love writing historicals. I don’t get enough of them done and out but I truly do love them. Here we have a woman who is sold out by Father to protect those who can afford it, or kill for those who can, until she finds love and realizes that she will have to make the ultimate decision and sacrifice.

From England’s cold mausoleum homes to Africa’s vastness, Colin fights for the love and respect of a warrior’s heart to keep his family together.

Preferring solitude, Colin Faulkner resides at his country estate. Yet, fate being fickle, introduces a mysterious woman into his life. Societal dictates say he has no business wanting her…he does.

Monday Book Memories ~ Chasing the Storm

Monday, October 1st, 2018

Been a while since this one has come out. The first in a six-book series. There is also a prequel that’s done as a serial.

I had a lot of fun writing this one.

Sometimes all you get is a tiny flash…

Cale Mattox is the first of the Astral Guardians to find his artefact. The woman who wears it has her own past she’s running from.

Taylor Kenyon is tired—the family who wants her dead is beginning to gain on her. This man, Cale, gives her a sense of comfort she’s never had before and creates feelings no one else has. Together they will fight the approaching darkness.

Can he protect her as well as convince her that he needs more than just the artefact?
